چکیده

Abstract Forecasting of severe acute graft-versus-host disease (aGVHD) after transplantation is a challenging ‘large p , small n ’ problem that suffers from nonuniform data sampling. We propose dynamic probabilistic algorithm, daGOAT, accommodates sampling heterogeneity, integrates multidimensional clinical and continuously updates the daily risk score for aGVHD onset within two-week moving window. In studied cohorts, cross-validated area under receiver operator characteristic curve (AUROC) daGOAT rose steadily peaked at ?0.78 in both adult pediatric outperforming two-biomarker MAGIC score, three-biomarker Ann Arbor peri-transplantation features-based models XGBoost. Simulation experiments indicated algorithm well suited short time-series scenarios where underlying process event generation smooth, there are frequent irregular missing. daGOAT’s broader utility was demonstrated by performance testing on remotely different task, is, prediction imminent human postural change based smartphone inertial sensor data.

Relationship between Molecular Chimerism and Graft Versus Host Disease after Allogenic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation

Background: Bone marrow transplantation (BMT) is considered as a curative therapy for a broad range of diseases. However, complications such as relapse and graft versus host disease (GVHD) may be observed following BMT. Chimerism analysis serves as a reliable indicator of transplant outcome. Complete chimerism refers to the complete replacement of hematopoietic system by donor cells, while mixe...

Acute graft versus host disease after orthotopic liver transplantation

Graft versus host disease (GVHD) is an uncommon complication after orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT) with an incidence of 0.1-2%, but an 80-100% mortality rate. Patients can present with skin rashes, diarrhea, and bone marrow aplasia between two to eight weeks after OLT. Diagnosis of GVHD is made based on clinical and histologic evidence, supported by chimerism studies showing donor HLA al...

Graft-versus-host disease after kidney transplantation

Graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) is a rare complication after kidney transplantation. We describe a 62-year-old female with end-stage renal disease due to hypertension. She received a kidney with 4 mismatched human leukocyte antigen (HLA) out of 6 HLA - A, B, DR from a deceased donor. After the procedure, the patient showed watery diarrhea on postoperative day (POD) 45. An endoscopic biopsy of ...

Graft-versus-host disease after liver transplantation

Graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) following liver transplantation (LT) is an uncommon complication but has high mortality and represents a major diagnostic challenge. GVHD occurs when immunocompetent donor lymphocytes originating from the transplanted liver undergo activation and clonal expansion, allowing them to mount a destructive cellular immune response against recipient tissues. Humoral GV...

Graft-versus-host-disease after kidney transplantation

INTRODUCTION Acute graft-versus-host-disease (GVHD) in kidney recipients is extremely rare. Knowledge about its clinical manifestations, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis is limited and needs to be increased. CLINICAL FINDINGS One male kidney transplant recipient developed diarrhea and suffered kidney function damage. Primarily diagnosed with acute rejection, he was given methylprednisolone...
